PART 1 - ALL ABOUT SUBLIMINAL
What Is Subliminal?
Subliminal, by definition, is: Any sound, smell, touch, or sight that
is perceived by the mind, and below our level of conscious awareness.
Subliminal communication occurs when we bypass the conscious portion
of the brain and send valuable information directly to the subconscious.
Through our five senses, our subconscious recording equipment is
capable of recording millions of bits of information every second.
Because it's for more than our brains can consciously register,
our subconscious accepts the information instead and stores it away.
Unfortunately, not all of the information stored there is in our
best interest. It's a sum of all of the influences and experiences
we've encountered during our lifetime which add up to what we are
and how we see ourselves. The negative conditioning must be replaced
by positive, helpful information that agrees with our conscious
wishes. In this way, it is very easy to accomplish our most desired
goals. Top of page >>
Your Brain is a Bio-Computer
Pictures can help to explain a sometimes complicated and highly technical
process. Our mind is a very powerful Bio-Computer, capable of recording
everything we experience by our 5 senses throughout our lifetime.
Today, we represent out inherited traits and the accumulation of everything
we have seen on TV and in the movies, heard, felt, smelled, thought,
and personally experienced. Experts believe for each positive experience,
we have 5 negative ones. It is no wonder that we may have self-imposed
limitations do to all the negativity that surround us each and every
day.

Your Subconscious Mind
- - 88% of the brain
- - Data Storage Bank
- - Bio Computer
- - Records at 100 millions bits per second
- - Stores everything you experienced
- - Does not screen information
Your Conscious Mind
- - 12% of the brain "Communication Center"
- - Directs all actions of the body + reasons + calculates + makes
decisions
- - Registers pain, fear, happiness
- - Can only think of one subject at a time
About Your Brain
Did you know that the number of neurons in the human brain is almost
equal to the number of stars in our Milky Way? That's over 15 billion.
One noted brain physiologist estimates when writing out by hand
on a flat surface the number of possible neuron interactions, that
figure would span almost 9 1/2 kilometers. Did you know that we
only use 10% of our total brain capacity?
Most physicists would agree that the human brain will be our ultimate
intellectual challenge in the last quarter of the twentieth century.
Since the complexities of the brain are so great it is very difficult
to explain in simple terms what bits of information we do know.
For example, when dealing with subliminal there are four subjective
states that we need to concentrate on. First, there is the Alpha
state, the state of imagination and fantasy. Second is Beta. Beta
tends to be the state of reasoning which protects our attitudes.
Next is Theta and Delta. Within the subjective states of Theta and
Delta, you encounter deep sleep and meditation that allows you to
reorganize and restructure such things as attitudes and behaviors.
Subliminal takes place when you bypass the conscious state of Beta
and move directly to Alpha, Theta, and Delta. As Alpha imagines
a change, Theta and Delta are already going to work rebuilding and
creating new attitudes and behaviors.
As Henry Ford once said "Think you can, think you can't; either
way you're right."

How Subliminal Learning Can Effect Your Life
In 1985 at Venango Campus of Clarion University of Pennsylvania
a research project was conducted with the participants enrolled
in General Studies 100 - Reading and Study Skills, 1st semester.
The students were each given a tape to listen to for 12 weeks. Some
of the tapes were subliminal and some were not.
In June 1985, grade reports for each of the participants were received.
The reports showed the students who listened to the subliminal tapes
increased their semester averages by .45 over their previous cumulative
averages. However, the students who were given the tapes without
subliminal messages did not improve.
In the study, all evidence supports the hypothesis that students
who use subliminal programs designed to improve recall in test situations
will outperform classmates who listen to identical sounding placebo
tapes containing no subliminal messages.
This is just one example of the hundreds of experiments being conducted
on subliminal learning techniques and how they can work for you.
How Effective Is It and Who Uses It?
Audio subliminal training methods are now in use throughout the
United States by major department stores to reduce shrinkage. Documented
and controlled studies by researchers at Tulane University demonstrated
a 37% reduction in shrinkage at a major retail department store
chain that instituted this subliminal technology program.
The Bright Images subliminal training approach is being used today
by police departments across the country to assist in hostage negotiations...
The Philadelphia Phillies baseball team has used subliminal training
methods with great success in their pitching force!
Rick Charles, a world champion athlete credits subliminal training
as helping him to overcome fear in training for his world record
of the 172-foot high dive.
Carl Simonton, M.D. of Yale University in his latest book attributes
startling cures in terminal cancer patients via the use of positive
mental imagery techniques, which are similar to subliminal training.
Subliminal learning is also used by a variety of professionals.
Musicians, movie producers, therapists, athletes, and advertisers...,
and all are benefiting from its use.
